Emmy Award winning author, Willa Brigham, is an entertaining storyteller, performing artist, inspirational speaker, avid quilter, and television host.

Her passion for education, celebrating diversity, and her knack for adding a bit of zany in her art expression has inspired her to write her latest book, The Pizza Tree. In addition to her passion for writing children’s books, Willa’s work in children’s television has earned her 2 Emmy Awards (she has been nominated for 5) in the category of “Best Educational Programming for Young Children.”

She has been recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the North Carolina Federation of Women. She is a member of the National Speakers Association (NSA), National Association of Black Storytellers (NCABS); and with her funloving side not going unnoticed, a Toastmasters Humorous Contest winner.
